An international student workshop on the development of the Füvészkert Botanic Garden was held between 24-27 November 2021, jointly organised by the Design-Institute and the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning and Garden Art of MATE. Orsolya Fekete and Balázs Almási landscape architects coordinated the outsourced workshop of the English-language course of the university, while the Design-Institute’s interior architect Dóra Fónagy and landscape architect György Zsigmond helped the students with their advice. The prestigious professional event was also attended by László Orlóci, Director of the Füvészkert, which is 250 years old this year. During the final plenary presentation, the teams painted a very exciting and creative vision of the future of the Füvészkert. But the successful collaboration does not end there. Next year, the collaboration will continue, involving students from several national architecture and art universities.
