My colleague Roland Szurovecz and I had the honour of presenting the story of our garden, winner of the Landscape Architecture Award and Garden of the Year Grand Prize, at the Tapolca Professional Days conference. Moreover, we are proud that we were able to share our often funny experiences with the public in 40 minutes instead of the usual 20 minutes. We were told several times afterwards that, although the performance was professionally very good, we should be earning our living in the “stand-up” genre. I don’t deny that we enjoyed every minute of it. The reaction of the audience was also touching. On an anonymous note, here are a few comments from the event:
