The Tájodüsszeia 2025 exhibition and book launch opened at 6 p.m. on January 29, 2026, at the MATE Buda Campus. The fourth edition of the event series (following 2010, 2015, and 2020/21) once again provided a comprehensive overview of the recent history of Hungarian landscape architecture, presenting 101 outstanding projects in the field on a total of 101 posters. The selection was extremely strong and diverse, and was also presented in the catalog prepared for the exhibition.

The visual identity of Tájodüsszeia 2025 was created with the active participation of my colleague Árpád Zsolt Bartha. This was the first time we worked as a team on developing a visual identity.
The image concept reflects the growing trend of closeness to nature. The dominant visual motif is an image of a wildflower meadow, which appears at the bottom of the posters and on the back of the catalog, subtly tying together the graphic elements of the exhibition.

The layout is deliberately characterized by clarity and simplicity. The previous image has undergone a facelift: the header has been given a lighter typography, the color codes of the project categories appear more subtly on the posters this time, and a new, logo-like year number has been developed, the distinctive image of which also appears on the cover of the catalog.

A huge thank you to the organizers for organizing and running such a high-quality professional competition. The event was important to us not only because of the image design, but also because our joint garden with my contractor friend Roland Szurovecz was featured on the wall…
